1965 Service Convention enters into force for the Dominican Republic and El Salvador

Today, 1 October 2024, the Convention of 15 November 1965 on the Service Abroad of Judicial and Extrajudicial Documents in Civil or Commercial Matters (1965 Service Convention) entered into force for the Dominican Republic and the Republic of El Salvador following the deposit of their instruments of accession on 21 March 2024.
The 1965 Service Convention has 84 Contracting Parties. More information on this Convention is available on the Service Section of the HCCH website.
The Dominican Republic has been a Member of the HCCH since 2020 and is a Contracting Party to six HCCH Conventions, while El Salvador has been a Member of the HCCH since 2022 and is currently a Contracting Party to six HCCH Conventions.
