Hague Intercountry Adoption Convention soon to be in force for 81 States
After the signature and ratification by Greece on 2 September 2009, two more countries have joined the Hague Convention of 29 May 1993 on Protection of Children and Co-operation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption: Cape Verde (4 September 2009) and the Republic of Togo (12 October 2009).
