New Zealand accepts Hague Conference Statute
By Note dated 5 February 2002, the Embassy of New Zealand at The Hague informed the depositary of the Hague Conventions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, that it had accepted the Hague Conference Statute. New Zealand is the fifty-eighth State to join the Hague Conference on private international law, and is already a Party to the Hague Conventions on legalisation, child abduction and intercountry adoption.
