Protection of Adults Convention enters into force for Greece

Today, 1 November 2022, the Convention of 13 January 2000 on the International Protection of Adults (2000 Protection of Adults Convention) entered into force for the Hellenic Republic following the deposit of its instrument of ratification on 28 July 2022.
The 2000 Protection of Adults Convention currently has 14 Contracting Parties. More information on this Convention is available on the Protection of Adults Section of the HCCH website.
Greece has been a Member of the HCCH since 1955 and is bound by 13 HCCH Conventions and one Protocol.
