Conference announcement: “Towards a Global Framework for International Commercial Transactions: Implementing the Hague Principles on Choice of Law in International Commercial Contracts”
The University of Lucerne and the Permanent Bureau of the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH) are pleased to announce the holding of the Conference “Towards a Global Framework for International Commercial Transactions: Implementing the Hague Principles on Choice of Law in International Commercial Contracts”. The conference will take place on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 September 2016, in Lucerne, Switzerland. The impact and prospects of the 2015 Principles on Choice of Law in International Commercial Contracts (the 2015 Hague Principles) will be presented in the context of other relevant legal instruments applicable to international commercial transactions.
The conference will involve a panel of distinguished speakers, including scholars, practitioners, and representatives from various international organisations, and will provide an unique opportunity for a lively exchange of views on the 2015 Hague Principles and their practical relevance amongst the international legal community.
