Brazil accedes to Child Abduction Convention oct191999 On Tuesday, 19 October 1999, Brazil acceded to the Hague Convention of 25 October 1980 on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. This Convention will enter into force for Brazil on 1 January 2000.
