Belgium ratifies Child Abduction Convention févr91999 On Tuesday, 9 February 1999, Belgium ratified the Hague Convention of 25 October 1980 on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. This Convention will enter into force for Belgium on 1 May 1999.
