Monaco accedes to 1993 Convention

On Tuesday, 29 June 1999, Monaco acceded to the Hague Convention of 29 May 1993 on Protection of Children and Co-operation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption. This Convention will enter into force for Monaco on 1 October 1999. Monaco is the first country to become a Party to all three modern Hague Conventions on children (i.e. Conventions on child abduction, intercountry adoption, protection of children).
