The Service Convention enters into force for Nicaragua
On 1 February 2020, the HCCH Convention of 15 November 1965 on the Service Abroad of Judicial and Extrajudicial Documents in Civil or Commercial Matters (“Service Convention”) entered into force for Nicaragua, following the deposit of its instrument of accession on 24 July 2019.
Although not yet a Member State of the HCCH, Nicaragua is currently party to five other HCCH Conventions (Apostille, Evidence, Child Abduction, Child Protection and Child Support).
The Service Convention currently has 75 Contracting Parties.
