Meeting of the Administrative Cooperation Working Group

On 13 November 2024, a meeting of the Administrative Cooperation Working Group (ACWG)  was held online, hosted by the Permanent Bureau (PB) in The Hague. The meeting was attended by 48 delegates and other experts, representing 23 HCCH Members and one Observer, as well as by members of the PB.

Pursuant to its mandate, the ACWG continued its work as a forum for discussion of issues pertaining to administrative cooperation in relation to the 2007 Child Support Convention and its Protocol. This meeting in particular focused on discussing updates to the Country Profile on the Convention, in the light of comments received from Members and Contracting Parties. This work takes place in the context of the e-Country Profiles project, which involves the development of e-Country Profiles under several core HCCH Conventions, including the 2007 Child Support Convention. The Country Profile is a standardised document available to States to complete, view, and update electronically, facilitating information exchange between Contracting Parties. The ACWG is scheduled to meet again on 27 November and 11 December 2024 to discuss and finalise the updates to the Country Profile. A report on the progress of this work will be presented to the Council on General Affairs and Policy in March 2025.

More information on the 2007 Child Support Convention and its Protocol is available on the Child Support Section of the HCCH website.
