Greece ratifies the Protection of Adults Convention

The Permanent Bureau has been informed that on 28 July 2022 the Hellenic Republic deposited its instrument of ratification of the Convention of 13 January 2000 on the International Protection of Adults (Protection of Adults Convention).
The Protection of Adults Convention will enter into force for Greece on 1 November 2022. With this ratification, the Convention now has 14 Contracting Parties. More information on this Convention is available on the Protection of Adults Section of the HCCH website.
Greece has been a Member of the HCCH since 1955 and is now bound by 12 HCCH Conventions and one Protocol.
