Russian Federation rejoins the Hague Conference
On 6 December 2001, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation, H.E. Mr Alexander Georgievich Khodakov, deposited the instrument of acceptance by his country of the Statute of the Hague Conference on private international law, in accordance with Article 2, paragraph 1, of the Statute, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
As a result, all States (or their successor States) which participated in one or more of the first six Sessions of the Conference prior to the adoption of the Statute at the Seventh Session in 1951, have now rejoined the Conference.
The Russian Federation is the tenth State to accept the Statute in 2001.
The Russian Federation is the fifty-seventh State to join the Hague Conference on private international law.
